Clergy
	Fr. George Williams, Pastor frgeorge@sjncanton.net Fr. George's experience includes canon law, marriage annulments, and campus ministry. He spends his time as a priest presiding at daily, weekend, and funeral liturgies, visiting the sick, meeting with parishioners, and is a part of the Presbyteral Council for the Archdiocese of Detroit.
	Fr. Andrew Bloomfield, Associate Pastor frandrew@sjncanton.net  http://fatherbloomfield.blogspot.com/ Fr. Andrew was ordained a priest by Cardinal Adam Maida in May 2005.  He is also a candidate for Chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Fr. Andrew enjoys bluegrass music and the acoustic guitar, which he plays with his brothers. His ministry here will include celebrating the liturgy, the sacraments, and visiting the sick.
	Fr. Ed Mitchell, Weekend Assistant Fr. Ed presides at many of the weekend liturgies at St. John Neumann and brings wisdom from his fifty years as a priest to our parish.
	Pat Conlen, Deacon deaconpat@sjncanton.net Deacon Pat serves the parish community through his preaching at the liturgy, baptisms, marriages, and marriage preparation. He also works with First Step, a home for women and children who have been abused.
Professional Ministry and Parish Staff
	Mary Buckley, Coordinator of Youth Ministry mary@sjncanton.net Mary is the Coordinator of Youth Ministry at SJN since December 2003. She has been involved in youth ministry as a youth, volunteer, and minister for close to ten years. She coordinates the entire youth program, which includes middle school and high school.
	Kellie Chamberland, Formation Secretary kellie@sjncanton.net Kellie join the SJN staff this year and helps direct the Religious Formation Office and Whole Community Festivals. Her degree is a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services.
	Connie Chmielewski, Secretary connie@sjncanton.net Connie coordinates the parishioner database, answers phones, and greets and assists parishioners. Additionally, Connie posts weekly contributions to the database, updates associated reports, and processes CSA pledge contributions. She also maintains inventory levels for food and other items for our various funeral and social functions.
	Rick Cucchi, Director of Music rick@sjncanton.net Rick has been in music ministry for 23 years in the Detroit and Lansing dioceses. He coordinates our Music Ministry choirs, groups, and cantors. Rick received a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan and in addition to parish work has played the organ for the Fox Theater.
	Terry Dajnowicz, Bulletin Editor terry@sjncanton.net As our In The Spirit editor, Terry’s primary responsibility is to compile, edit, lay out and prepare the bulletin for publication on a weekly basis. But her creative talents are not limited to the bulletin. As part of our ministry to parishioners whose loved ones have past away, Terry designs and publishes the Funeral Liturgy Worship Aides. When not on her computer, Terry assists other staff members on an as needed basis and occasionally she might be found at the front desk.
	Chris Distelrath, Pastoral Minister chris@sjncanton.net Chris wears many hats at SJN. She handles the phone calls and walk in assistance requests for help with rent, utilities and food vouchers. Chris administers SJN’s parish outreach to the local and global community. (Jesse Tree, Funeral Lunch, Lenten Outreach, Soup Kitchen, etc.) Chris and many volunteer teams also coordinate developing small Christian Faith Communities and some of the continuing adult formation. In here free time Chris likes to do basket weaving, take voice lessons, and sing in the parish choir.
	Donna Franke, Director of Religious Formation donna@sjncanton.net Donna is responsible for the faith formation program for the parish. She also coordinates the sacramental preparation programs for First Eucharist, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation. Donna has helped create the Whole Community Catechesis process for our parish and leads a large team of volunteers each month to make the festivals possible.
	Judy Harris, Assistant to the Formation Director  judy@sjncanton.net Judy works as Assistant to Donna Franke in the Religious Formation office. She helps coordinate the Religious Formation Program and assists in administrative and creative duties. She also shares her time as a lector for the weekend liturgies.
	Liz Horka, Parish Secretary liz@sjncanton.net As the parish secretary at St. John Neumann Liz Horka provides assistance to both staff and parishioners. Liz assists in organizing the operations of the office and answering more questions in a day than most people do in a week. She handles much of the sacramental arrangements, creates PowerPoint announcements for the weekend liturgies, and manages the booking of meetings held in the building.
	Jan Jacobs, Building Administrator Jan is responsible for the bookkeeping, payroll, budget planning and many other administrative functions at SJN. She also coordinates decorating and the grounds keeping here at the parish.
	Gene Kijek, Pastoral Associate gene@sjncanton.net Gene has been involved in pastoral ministry at St. John Neumann for 21 years. He coordinates all worship for the parish, interacts with the heads of liturgical ministries, and is responsible for liturgy planning and formation. He directs the RCIA program, the process that receives people into the Catholic Church. Other duties include marriage and baptism preparation, being a Pastoral Council resource, annulment advocacy, and fund raising.
	Tom Malje, Head of Maintenance Tom heads up the maintenance team at SJN. He helps coordinate the effort to maintain the parish facilities, grounds, and rectory. He has been part of the parish team for 20 years. He is interested in the outdoors and spends many weekends in northern Michigan.
Part Time Staff
	Bob Blazik, Maintenance Bob helps keep SJN in shape and use our space effectively by changing meetings rooms for new groups and keeping the building clean.
	Bob Gourieux, Maintenance Bob has been assisting the parish in the maintenance after his retirement from Ford. Bob keeps the staff and parishioners upbeat and light-hearted with his humor.
	Matt Marsico, Maintenance Matt is a student at Eastern Michigan University and has been part of the maintenance team for over two years. He is interested in business management in the area of marketing.
	Jodi Plopan, Evening Receptionist Jodi works during the evening at SJN in the parish office answering parishioner questions and helping out with various projects. She is active in the young adult ministry and is a sacristan at the liturgies.
	Anthony Sobick, Maintenance Anthony helps the maintenance department keep the building clean and by setting up meeting rooms for parish groups.
	Bev Tierney, Evening Secretary Bev maintains order during busy evenings at the parish by directing parishioners to meeting rooms and answering questions. She assists on many parish administrative activities and is a valuable addition to the staff.
